Deelen Loyalty Policy

1.    Introduction

The Deelen Loyalty Program rewards active users who engage with the platform by listing, renting, reviewing, and maintaining a strong reputation with exclusive benefits. Points accumulated through this program allow users to unlock exclusive benefits and discounts.

By participating, users agree to the terms outlined here, which align with the Deelen General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

Points are earned through various actions and can be lost due to cancellations, disputes, or violations of Deelen’s terms. The system is designed to encourage trust, reliability, and consistent engagement while ensuring fairness for both Lessees and Lessors.

2.    Eligibility and Participation

All registered users are automatically enrolled. Points are earned through transactions and engagement on the platform. The program is subject to the rules stated in the GTC.

  • Rentals & Sales: Users earn points based on successful transactions as Lessor or Lessee.
  • Bonus Actions: Extra points may be awarded for referrals, reviews, and platform engagement.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Any fraudulent transactions will result in point removal and possible account suspension, in accordance with the GTC.

3.    Loyalty Program for Lessors

Lessors who actively list and rent out their items can progress through different levels and unlock exclusive benefits that increase visibility and rental opportunities.

4.    Loyalty Program for Lessees

Lessees who frequently book items and maintain a good reputation can unlock benefits that improve their rental experience.

5.    Additional Program Rules

  • Points Expiry: Points remain valid for 12 months from the date they are earned. If a user remains inactive (no transactions) for 12 consecutive months, their balance is reset to 0.
  • Fraud Prevention: Any attempt to manipulate the system (e.g., fake transactions, misleading reviews) will result in immediate deduction of 100 points and possible account suspension.
  • Program Adjustments: Deelen reserves the right to modify or adjust the Loyalty Program structure at any time. Users will be notified of major changes at least 30 days in advance.
  • Non-Transferable: Loyalty points cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or combined between users.
  1. Using Points
    Points can be redeemed for the following benefits:
  • Discount on Commission Fees: Users can apply points to reduce the standard 18% commission rate on transactions, subject to a minimum commission of €1 per transaction.
  • Exclusive Offers: Special promotions for high-ranking users.

7.    Cancellation and Adjustments

  • Points are deducted if a transaction is canceled.
  • If a cancellation occurs due to Force Majeure (as defined in the GTC), users may submit proof to avoid point deductions.

8.    Program Modifications and Termination
Deelen reserves the right to modify or terminate the Loyalty Program at any time.

By participating in the Loyalty Program, users confirm their acceptance of these terms, in conjunction with the Deelen GTC.
