For Owners,
Deelen is a platform that lets you share your things and easily earn money from them. If you have tools, equipment, or any other items in good condition, you can rent them out and make some extra money while also helping people use things more responsibly.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to understanding how it works:
Register on Deelen and complete your profile.
Identity verification is recommended to build trust with renters.
Upload high-quality pictures, write a detailed description, set the daily/weekly/monthly rental price, and define a security deposit if required.
When someone is interested in your item, they will send a rental request with the desired rental period.
Review the renter’s profile, ratings, and past reviews. Accept or decline the request based on their history and reliability.
Once accepted, the renter makes a secure payment through Deelen. The platform holds the funds until the rental period is successfully completed.
Coordinate a convenient time and place to hand over the item. To start a rental, meet the renter to hand over your item. Take pictures together to show the item’s condition. Then, you’ll both enter a special code on your phones. This makes sure you’re giving your item to the right person, and keeps things safe!
After the rental, meet the renter to get your item back. Take photos together, and both enter a code for a safe return!
If no issues are reported, Deelen releases the payment to your account. If a deposit was required, it is refunded to the renter unless damage is reported.
Leave a review about the renter’s responsibility and punctuality to help maintain a trusted community.
